Antonio Conte's side have postponed their match against Burnley this weekend, after Bis saw a 1-0 threat at Everton.

One of the positive points is that Antonio Conte will give him a little more time to train with the team. The new coach takes stock of the team's physical condition and continues to apply the tactics. He also tries to avoid some injuries. Extra days without matches are useful not only for this, but also for the first few days.
Brentford is good for the newly promoted team because it is far from the relegation zone and the goal difference is neutral. Winners of the league playoffs lost four in a row last season, but a draw with Newcastle and a surprise win against Everton put the Bees on the right track.

Before beating Tophis 1-0, Brentford had scored at least two goals in each of their last four games. Spurs have scored more goals in three of twelve league appearances, but the team's win over Leeds gave the team the best xG (2.0) of the season, which could allow Conte to unlock the attack.
It becomes clear how the managers are trying to do this. Lucas Moura seems to have a front row home. He makes sense because of his desire to move the ball forward. There are no goals in this setup yet, but that largely depends on Harry Kane, who has scored at least in the Conference League.
Even without a suspended game, the team plays an odd number of times during this time, making it difficult to track the leaderboard. That said, Thursday (and the next two games) is a truly must-see victory if Tottenham is back in the top four. This seems very feasible.

3. Brentford are the second of three promotional teams to have seen Spurs this season. Norwich arrives in town this Sunday to complete the circuit. Nuno Espirito defeated Santo and his company Watford 1-0 and won three games in a row to start the league match in August.
